All lifejackets are in the closet under lower-level stairs across from the Wilderness Room.
FISHING
Fish off the dock; fishing rods are in the lower-level under-stairs closet with life jackets.

ON LAND
Walk the 1/2 mile to Hat Rapids Road intersection and back.
Swing on the tree swing ( children’s swing can hook onto clamps on the rope swing) or playset swings for children. Tag @5Ks_Chalet on Instagram with your #treeswing photos.
Climb the climbing tree in the yard (with adult supervision).
Use the Great Room binoculars to birdwatch from any upper-bedroom window, the deck, or from the dock.
Get out the telescope on the deck or lay in the grass and stargaze for the Big Dipper, Little Dipper, and Orion’s Belt.
The property is along ATV trails and a bike route.
Wild turkeys, geese, loons, mallards, and other birds frequent the river, the trees, and our woods.
A bald eagle's nest can be found upstream; they fly over the house and Wisconsin River regularly.
The neighborhood has 4-5 deer and you will see them strolling around; keep your cameras and phones ready!
